Once Upon a Supper is designed to be a book club resource. Each book contains (or will) menu options specific to that book. Make your turn hosting book club memorable by planning a book themed meal. The focus is more on the menu than the book.

My pen name is Katherine V Banks, but I also go by Vero. Books are my life whether I'm reading or writing them. I'm in two different book clubs and in both we have meals, snacks, drinks to match a theme from that months book. There are a few categories used: • Food/Drinks mentioned in the book • Setting Theme (ex: Hollywood, Wild Wild West) • Period Theme (ex: 50s, 2000s) • Character Theme (ex: MC is a baker or lives in Mongolia) • Storyline Theme (ex: each course represents a significant event in the book) • Descriptive Genre Theme (ex: Whimsical romance, Intense Psychological Thriller)

The goal is to have at least one suggestion per book from our site creator, but the best part of this site is users can add their own suggestions; photos and recipe links can be included. Imagination knows no limits so anything from simple themed snacks to a full course meal can be added.
